Proximity

The Storey is a 30 minute drive from Blackpool International Airport and 60 minutes to Manchester Airport, Lancaster has easy access to and from most of the UK and Europe. In fact, it’s little more than a hop and a skip to Salford’s Media City and only an hour and a half more to Barcelona.

Liverpool, Capital of Culture ’08, has focussed Europe’s attention on the North West of England. And it’s only an hour’s drive away.
Lancaster’s West Coast, main line train station is on the doorstep with Pendolino connections to other major cities. And, with two junctions on the M6, the Storey is only ten minutes from the motorway.

Just up the road, Heysham Port has regular ferry services to Ireland and the Isle of Man, Britain’s answer to Hollywood.

Parking

Lancaster has a number of well-located car parks including, just a spit away from the Storey, one of only three Parksafe car parks in the country. Said to be safer than Fort Knox, you and your clients can park there with absolute confidence. Parksafe have agreed a flat fee for Storey visitors which can be billed directly to you … when you want to impress your clients.

Universities

 

Lancaster University is one of the top research universities in the country. With an international reputation for its high standards, the university can be a great resource to Lancaster and its businesses.

Lancaster has a number of excellent schools, including Lancaster Royal Grammar School which, founded in the 13th Century, is one of the country’s oldest maintained schools and frequently tops the results charts, along with Lancaster Girls Grammar School and Ripley St Thomas.
