TEDx

Thursday 8th April

The Storey Lecture Theatre

Tickets: Donations

Come and join us in The Storey Lecture Theatre with world-class guest speakers, discussing contemporary issues that affect us all. Why not join in the debate and have your say on each different monthly topic. Our TEDx talks will offer free knowledge and inspiration from the world's most inspired thinkers, and will combine a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other.
This months topic will be and will feature podcast talks from Seth Godin and Malcolm Gladwell.

The Two Guest Podcast Speakers:
Tipping Point author Malcolm Gladwell gets inside the food industry's pursuit of the perfect spaghetti sauce -- and makes a larger argument about the nature of choice and happiness.
In a world of too many options and too little time, our obvious choice is to just ignore the ordinary stuff. Marketing guru Seth Godin spells out why, when it comes to getting our attention, bad or bizarre ideas are more successful than boring ones.
Each first Thursday of the month will be a different topic, so come and give your opinion on the cultural, ethical and moral aspects and technological advances in the world today!
