A physicists view of human physiology and health...
Life does not exist in the moment. Life, at least in the biological
sense, exists in the movement from one moment to the next. Here is a
world of constant flux, never-ending change, a story of action and
reaction, a place where balance means constant movement rather than
rest.
This talk will introduce the work of the non-linear biomedical physics
group based at Lancaster University. It will describe a technique which
allows us to explore the dynamic nature of human physiology. A technique
which may change the way we think of health and disease. A technique
which allows us to hear the music in our veins.
