Andy Diggle

Andy is one of the UK’s leading comic-book writers, with over 20 graphic novels published in multiple languages.

He is currently writing DOCTOR WHO for IDW Comics; the creator-owned thriller SNAPSHOT; LENNNY ZERO for 2000AD; a major, as-yet unannounced series for Image; and various original creator-owned projects.

He is also developing a comics-based literacy project with his wife Angela Diggle.

Andy is best known for co-creating the New York Times bestselling action thriller THE LOSERS, which was nominated for the prestigious Eisner Awards, with long-time collaborator Jock. The feature film adaptation opened worldwide in 2010, starring Chris Evans, Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Andy was formerly the Editor of legendary British anthology comic 2000 AD, and has twice been named one of the “Top 50 Most Influential People In Science Fiction” by SFX, the UK’s best-selling sci-fi magazine.

Andy was one of the first residents to move into Lancaster’s newly-refurbished Storey Creative Industries Centre.
