An introduction to Storeytelling with Dominic Kelly

The day will offer a lively and experiential insight into the storytelling process. This workshop will include exercises on finding stories, composition, building the world of the story and telling it to an audience. Everyone will leave with a story to tell and basic tools to use in telling for pleasure or as part of their work.

Dominic Kelly works full time as a storyteller across the UK, in theatre, festivals, schools, museums, libraries and the outdoors. Recent performances include solo shows at the Barbican, The Soho Theatre and The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival. In 2009 he was awarded the national New Directions Commission by Cambridge Storytelling Festival. Visit his website for more information.
