7-9pm - `Writing a Migration` in the Gallery

Writing workshop with Sarah Hymas exploring what migration means to us and how we`re connected to current and historical migrations.

Thursday 17 March

7.30pm - Inspiring Stories - Fact and Fiction From the Bay with authors Andrew M Hurley and Karen Lloyd, who will be discussing how the landscape and libraries of Lancashire have influenced their literature.

Friday 18 March

6-7pm - An Evening of Alternate Realities - JS Collyer and Eddie Robson will read from their works of Science Fiction and take questions afterwards in the Music Room.

7.15-8.15pm - An Evening of Alternate Realities - Panel Discussion - `Genre Bending`Our Alternate Realities writers discuss the understanding of terms in the science fiction genre by different audiences. In the Music Room.

8.30-9.30pm - An Evening of Alternate Realities - Good Science – with Saskia Goldschmidt, Justina Robson, Adrian Tchaikovsky will read from their works exploring ethics and morality in science and technology in the Music Room.
