On September the 1 ^st Iron Press Printmaking opened its doors to the public...

This welcoming, creative space has excellent facilities and exceptionally good light. Run by Master Printer Iain Sloan, the studio provides ‘Open Access’ to anyone with an interest in printmaking, whether professional, experienced or a complete beginner.

We are running a programme of specialist workshops and courses throughout the year for those keen to learn about individual disciplines, or to develop their skills further.
You will learn about different types of printmaking and investigate a wide range of traditional and contemporary print techniques.

Each workshop will accommodate a maximum of six people – so book early. No Studio Induction is required for Workshops but is necessary for open access sessions.
