The Lancaster Jazz Festival 2011 has been launched and is bringing some of the best international artists to Lancaster as well as showcasing great up and coming local talent.
There’s a whole host of brand new and original music - some of which has been created especially for the festival by established names and some one off collectives. Our main days are still to come so make sure you quickly get hold of one of our Full Festival Passes which are now very limited in number - it’ll get you into absolutely everything.

Experimental Improv Night - Wednesday 21st September - Lancaster Baptist Church
A night dedicated to two brand new collective created especially for the festival as well as music from the legendary international jazz drummer Tony Bianco.
The Lancaster Jazz Festival Main Stage - Saturday 24th September - The Dukes
Jazz giants Eyal Maoz and Asaf Sirkis play their only concert outside of London and New York this year with support from acclaimed pianist Johnny Richards, Grew Quartet and Youth Orbit.
(Not the) Contemporary Stage - Sunday 25th September - The Gregson
Our now traditional jazz marathon with 8 hours of live music from the best UK jazz talent helped out by the great food and beer at the Gregson.
